In this study, children will deepen their understanding through a variety of firsthand experiences that support all areas of their development and learning. Children will discover different types of clothes, how people care for clothes, where people get their clothes and how to design and create their own clothes. Children will also meet members of the community who work with clothes in different ways.

INVESTIGATION: LIGHT
A study of light invite children to engage in hands-on investigations of familiar light sources, such as flashlights, night lights, lamps and string lights. As the become more familiar with and interested in lights, children can expand their understanding of light beyond these common sources. In this study, children will examine a variety of questions and concepts. They will identify what objects make light and experiment with transparent and solid objects to block light.
